Hi there!

I’m Kirstie (like “thirsty” with a K). I am a published Kentucky photographer who’s fueled by musicals, sunshine, laughter and coffee.

I’ve had an interest in photography for as long as I can remember. It took me getting onto the yearbook & newspaper staff in high school and being placed in the role of “photographer” that I found I had a passion for it that I couldn’t shake.

I married the love of my life in 2016 and it will forever be one of my favorite days. We said our vows during an intimate backyard ceremony surrounded by loved ones on a perfect September evening, and I wouldn’t have had it any other way.

I'm older than I look, mainly because I'm 4’11 and can fit in your pocket. I’m a singer, cat-mom, coffee enthusiast & former barista, queen of naps, light chaser, and lover of color.

When I’m not behind my camera or connecting with clients you can find me in a coffee shop on my laptop, singing in my car, admiring colorful flowers, playing video games with my husband, or cuddled up on the couch editing and watching tv.

I believe in the power of gratitude, solo dance parties, that nature is healing, and that everything we’ve ever wanted is on the other side of fear.

If you connect with my work and think we’d vibe well together, let's chat! I would love to hear from you.

MY STYLE, PHILOSOPHY & VISION

I would describe my style as crisp, natural light photography mixed with evocative documentary moments and vibrant editorial flair.

Through my full-time career as an artist & photographer, I consider myself to be your biggest encourager, friend and storyteller. My most important role as a photographer is helping you feel confident, beautiful and free to be yourself.

What started out as a fulfilling hobby over a decade ago, I recently chose to work hard towards making a full-time career. After my family suffered the traumatic loss of my brother in 2016, I felt an urgent calling to pour myself into my subjects as I document their greatest-lifetime-moments. I've been reminded that life is too short to let it pass us by and far too beautiful not to enjoy to the fullest (while capturing what we can along the way). We all deserve to exist in photographs, for ourselves and for those who love us. I feel deeply blessed that I have this wonderful opportunity to lift others up, and to help capture and preserve their visual legacies.
